Representative
Ron is heading up the expansion of IP.com into the UK and Europe. His decision to do this is
born from first hand experience using the IP.com Services to manage one of his most recent
innovation projects in bioceramics. He has developed a high regard for their technical excellence
and now wishes to support the introduction to UK/Europe.
Ron has been an inventor and entrepreneur for twenty-five years and has successfully commercialised many innovations relating to advanced ceramics, technical glasses and nanomaterials. His business model has mainly focussed on licensing innovation to large corporations and, being from an SME background, has had to manage all aspects of this activity from patent drafting, enforcement, negotiation, license drafting and eventual technology transfer.
In addition to his technical and business skills he has qualified with an LLM in "Innovation Technology and Law" from Edinburgh Law School and is now determined to combine his experience and knowledge to show how IP.com services can empower and enable enterprises, universities and innovation professionals to develop effective intellectual property management and exploitation strategies.
